Ellee and Hunter’s wedding at The Barn at Maple was the kind of day that reminds you why love stories are the best stories—especially when they come with a little twist from Mother Nature.
The day kicked off with some less-than-ideal weather. Think gray skies, drizzle, and a few moments of “uh-oh, is this going to clear up?” But honestly? No one let it steal the vibe. Ellee and Hunter were all smiles from the start, totally unbothered and just soaking it all in. Their people? Same. Good energy everywhere.
And then—right before the ceremony—like it was on cue, the sky cleared. The sun came out, everything warmed up, and it was pure magic. Seriously, the timing was chef’s kiss.
One of my favorite moments of the day was Ellee’s first look with her dad. Cue all the tears (yes, mine too). It was such a sweet, emotional moment that set the tone for the heartfelt ceremony that followed.
The barn’s cozy charm and those wide-open fields made everything feel straight out of a movie. Add in the glowy light from that freshly revealed sun, and we had absolute gold for portraits.
Ellee and Hunter, thank you for letting me be part of your big day. Rain or shine, you two are magic together.
