There’s something timeless about The Ribault Club in Jacksonville, and Sarah + Karim’s wedding day was the perfect example of why it’s one of my favorite venues to photograph. Surrounded by history, moss-draped oaks, and the waterfront breeze, their celebration was both heartfelt and joy-filled from start to finish.

A Private First Touch + Vow Reading

Instead of doing a first look, Sarah and Karim chose to share a quiet “first touch” before the ceremony. Standing on either side of a doorway, they held hands and exchanged private vows they had written to each other. It was such a tender moment—filled with laughter, happy tears, and the sweetest anticipation before walking down the aisle.

A Beautiful Ceremony

The ceremony took place under the canopy of trees, with sunlight filtering through the branches. Friends and family gathered to witness their vows, and the setting was just as romantic as it was elegant. The way Sarah and Karim looked at each other throughout the ceremony said everything—you could feel their love in every glance.

Joy on the Lawn

After the ceremony, the newlyweds took some time to celebrate just the two of them. We captured some of my favorite portraits of the day as they ran across the Ribault Club lawn, laughing and soaking in the joy of being newly married. Those candid, playful moments are always the ones couples love most when they look back.

A Night to Remember

The reception carried all the warmth and fun of the day—delicious food, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor. The Ribault Club’s historic charm made the perfect backdrop for a celebration that felt both classic and uniquely their own.

✨ Sarah + Karim’s wedding was such a beautiful reminder that the best moments are often the ones that happen quietly between the big events—the hand squeezes, the private words, and the joyful laughter you can’t stage. I’m so grateful I got to capture it all for them.
